Our Process

Senior Living Advisor

Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)®

Certified Placement & Referral Specialist (CPRS)

Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP)®

Hi, I’m Linda Clement. I have always had a heart for older adults. It started with my first job at a retirement community, grew stronger through close relationships with older adults throughout my life, and became a lifelong dedication to making sure they are seen, supported, and cared for.

At Peace of Mind Senior Solutions, I don’t just help you find a place for your loved one. I help you find the care they need and the peace of mind your family deserves.

And this guidance is completely free to your family.

You don’t have to figure this out alone. I’m here.

Our Process: Free Senior Living Guidance for DFW Families

You Do Not Have to Figure This Out Alone

Most families who call or reach out start the same way. They have been quietly managing for a while, something has shifted, and now they are sitting with a list of questions and no clear idea where to begin. They are not sure what kind of care their parent actually needs, how much it costs, whether insurance or VA benefits apply, or how to even evaluate a community once they start touring.

That is exactly the kind of situation this service exists for.

How the Process Works

Step 1: A Simple Conversation

The first step is a simple phone or video call, usually 20 to 30 minutes. There is no form to fill out in advance and no pressure to make any decisions. The goal is just to listen.

Our team will ask about your loved one’s current situation, what is working, what is not, and what has prompted you to start looking into options. We will ask about care needs, daily routines, location preferences, budget considerations, and anything else that helps paint a clear picture. You do not need to have answers to all of these questions before you call. That is what the conversation is for.

Step 2: Honest Guidance on What Options Actually Fit

After the initial conversation, we will give you a clear, plain-language picture of the care options that realistically fit your loved one’s needs and your family’s circumstances. This is not a list of every facility in DFW. It is a focused set of options that actually make sense for your situation, explained in terms you can act on.

This might include assisted living communities, memory care, independent living, residential care homes, or in-home care, depending on what comes up in the first conversation. If VA Aid and Attendance benefits, Medicaid, or long-term care insurance are relevant, our team will walk through how those programs work and how to determine if  your loved one is likely to qualify.

The guidance is always honest. If a particular option does not make sense for your situation, We will say so.

Step 3: Introductions to Communities Worth Your Time

When you are ready to start looking at specific communities, we will introduce you to the ones that are the best match based on everything covered in your earlier conversations. These are warm introductions, not cold referrals. The communities we recommend are evaluated for quality, staffing, and fit.

Before any tours, our team will help you understand what to look for, which questions to ask, and what red flags to watch for. A tour can feel overwhelming or even misleading if you do not know what you are evaluating. The goal is to make sure you walk in prepared.

Step 4: Support Through the Decision and Beyond

Making a final decision about a parent’s care is one of the hardest things a family goes through. Our team stays involved through that process, available to answer questions, help you weigh options, and talk through concerns as they come up.

Once a placement decision is made, we can also connect families with other resources that help make the transition smoother, including senior move managers, elder law attorneys, home health companies, and VA benefits assistance.

Why Is This Service Free?

This is one of the first questions most families ask, and it is a fair one.

Peace of Mind Senior Solutions is compensated directly by senior living communities when a family chooses to move a loved one into one of those communities. This is the standard model for placement advisory services in Texas and across the country. It means families receive expert, personalized guidance at no cost to them.

Importantly, this structure does not change the advice you receive. Our job is to find the right fit for your loved one, not to fill a bed at a particular community. Recommending the wrong option would not serve anyone, and this service does not operate that way.

For families outside the Dallas-Fort Worth area, we can still help point you in the right direction through our nationwide network of trusted Certified Senior Advisors.

What Makes This Different

There are national placement services that operate from call centers with no local knowledge of the DFW market. There are also online directories that list communities without any guidance on quality or fit. Peace of Mind Senior Solutions is neither of those things.

Linda Clement is a Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)®, Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP)®, and Certified Placement and Referral Specialist (CPRS), based in North Richland Hills, Texas. She works directly with every family, has firsthand knowledge of communities throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, and brings 20 years of healthcare operations experience to every conversation. She holds the CDP credential through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners, which provides specialized training in Alzheimer’s and dementia care and deepens the guidance she offers to families navigating memory care decisions specifically.

This means that whether your family is exploring assisted living, trying to understand when memory care is the right step, or navigating a financial picture that involves VA benefits or Texas Medicaid, you are working with someone who has both the credentials and the local knowledge to give you guidance you can trust.

Frequently Asked Questions About Our Senior Placement Advisory Service

How does a senior living placement advisor work?

A senior living placement advisor listens to a family’s specific situation, provides honest guidance on the care options that realistically fit their loved one’s needs and budget, and introduces them to communities worth considering. Linda Clement, Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)®, Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP)®, and Certified Placement and Referral Specialist (CPRS), provides this service free of charge to families in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Linda guides families personally through every step of the process, from the first conversation through the placement decision, with no handoff to a call center or junior advisor.

Do I have to pay for a senior living advisor?

No. The advisory service provided by Peace of Mind Senior Solutions is completely free to families. Peace of Mind Senior Solutions is compensated by the senior living community when a family chooses to place a loved one there. This is the standard compensation model for placement advisors in Texas and across the country, and it does not affect the quality or honesty of the guidance families receive. The goal is always to find the right fit for your loved one, not to fill a bed at a particular community.

What happens when I call Peace of Mind Senior Solutions?

When you call or reach out to Peace of Mind Senior Solutions, Linda Clement, CSA®, CDP®, CPRS, will schedule a brief initial conversation, typically 20 to 30 minutes, to learn about your loved one’s situation, care needs, location preferences, and budget. There is no obligation and no pressure. The goal of the first call is simply to understand your situation well enough to give you useful, honest guidance on what options actually make sense for your family’s specific circumstances.

How long does it take to find senior living options?

The timeline depends entirely on your family’s situation. For families facing an urgent placement need following a hospitalization or health crisis, Linda can typically identify appropriate communities and arrange tours very quickly. For families who are planning ahead, the process can move at whatever pace feels comfortable. There is no deadline and no pressure to make decisions faster than your family is ready to. In Dallas-Fort Worth, assisted living costs typically range from $3,200 to $6,000 or more per month, and memory care from $4,500 to $7,500 or more per month – understanding those costs early gives families more time to plan.

Can you help if my parent is outside of Dallas-Fort Worth?

Yes. While Peace of Mind Senior Solutions primarily serves the Dallas-Fort Worth area, Linda Clement, CSA®, CDP®, CPRS, can help connect families outside DFW with trusted local advisors in other markets through a professional network of credentialed Certified Senior Advisors. The initial guidance, conversation, and help understanding options are available to families anywhere in the country.

What is the difference between a Certified Senior Advisor and a regular placement service?

A Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)® has completed a nationally recognized education program and passed a competency examination covering the health, financial, and social issues that affect older adults. The credential is awarded by the Society of Certified Senior Advisors. A Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP)® has completed specialized training in Alzheimer’s disease and dementia care through the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. A Certified Placement and Referral Specialist (CPRS) holds a designation specific to senior living placement advisory work. Linda Clement holds all three credentials. A placement service without these credentials may have useful experience, but has not completed the same level of verified professional education.

What is the difference between a senior placement advisor and a senior placement agency?

A senior placement agency is typically a company that employs multiple advisors and may operate at a regional or national scale, often routing families through a call center before connecting them with a local advisor. An independent senior placement advisor like Peace of Mind Senior Solutions works directly with every family from the first contact forward. Linda Clement, Certified Senior Advisor (CSA)®, Certified Dementia Practitioner (CDP)®, and Certified Placement and Referral Specialist (CPRS), is the person you speak with from the first call through the placement decision. There is no handoff, no call center, and no junior advisor. For families in Dallas-Fort Worth who want local expertise and direct personal guidance, this distinction matters.
