Peace of Mind Senior Solutions only refers families to senior living communities that are properly licensed by the Texas Health and Human Services Commission or otherwise legally exempt from licensure requirements. - Team Member Background Check: All Peace of Mind Senior Solutions team members who have direct contact with clients have undergone criminal history screening through a nationally accredited service provider in accordance with the Texas Business and Commerce Code Chapter 121. This screening is conducted to help ensure the safety and protection of the seniors and families we serve.
- Recommendation Presentation: We provide you with a list of recommended facilities, along with detailed information about each one. This may include facility brochures, online reviews, and our own observations. We aim to offer a range of options to ensure that you have choices that align with your loved one’s needs and preferences.
- Facility Tours: We assist in arranging tours of the recommended facilities. During these visits, you will have the opportunity to see the facilities firsthand, meet with staff, and ask questions. We can provide guidance on what to look for and how to evaluate each facility.
- Decision Support: After visiting the facilities, we are available to help you evaluate your options and make an informed decision. We can provide additional information, answer questions, and offer support throughout the decision-making process.

Peace of Mind Senior Solutions is compensated by the senior living facility that you ultimately choose for your loved one. The referral fee referenced below is paid by the senior living community, not by you. Here’s a detailed explanation of how our compensation structure works:
- Referral Fee: Our compensation comes in the form of a referral fee paid by the senior living facility. This fee is paid by the facility upon your loved one’s move-in and becoming a resident.
- No Direct Charges: As a client, you do not pay for our referral services. Our goal is to provide you with valuable information and support without adding any financial burden. The referral fee is covered by the facility and is not passed on to you.
- No Influence: We are committed to making recommendations based on your loved one’s needs and preferences. We do not refer to communities based solely on compensation rates, and we are prohibited by Texas law from using cost as the sole factor in our referrals.
Your Right to Stop Using Our Services
You have the right to stop using Peace of Mind Senior Solutions at any time, for any reason, and without any penalty or cost to you. There is no obligation to continue working with us at any stage of the process. If you decide to stop using our services, we will promptly notify all senior living communities to which we have referred you. We want this process to feel supportive and pressure-free from start to finish, and that includes your complete freedom to make whatever decision is right for your family.
Liability and Disclaimer
It is important to understand the limitations of our services and our role in the referral process. The following points outline our liability and the scope of our responsibilities:
- Limitation of Liability: While we strive to provide accurate and helpful recommendations, Peace of Mind Senior Solutions is not responsible for the quality of care or services provided by the senior living facilities. We do not have control over the operations, staff, or care provided by the facilities. Any issues or concerns regarding the care or services at the facility should be addressed directly with the facility’s management.
- No Guarantee: While we make every effort to match your loved one with a suitable community based on the information you provide, we cannot guarantee outcomes. The quality and delivery of care remain the responsibility of the facility.
- No Endorsement: The referral fee paid by the facility does not imply an endorsement or guarantee of the facility’s services. Our role is to provide you with options based on your preferences, and the final decision on facility selection is entirely yours.
- Client Responsibility: You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence when selecting a senior living facility. This includes visiting the facility, asking questions, and evaluating whether it meets your loved one’s needs and preferences. We provide recommendations and support, but the final decision rests with you.
